Jon began his career in real estate valuation in 2001 as a residential appraiser before transitioning into commercial appraisal work in 2004. Over time, he expanded his expertise across multifamily, mixed-use, retail, industrial, office, and special-use properties. His work has included flagship assignments such as the New York Times Building, 2, 4, and 7 World Trade Center, American Copper Buildings, and the Nike Global Flagship.
From 2018 to 2024, Jon led the New York City office of a top-five commercial real estate services firm, managing a team of 40 professionals and overseeing more than $22 million in annual revenue and over 5,000 appraisal reports per year. In 2024, he co-founded H&T Appraisal to build a national valuation platform grounded in technical excellence, credibility, and disciplined growth.
